Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Refund Eligibility
1.1 Development Projects Under R50,000
- Full refund available within 30 days of project completion if you are not satisfied
- Partial refund available if project is cancelled during development phase
- No refund for completed projects that meet agreed specifications
1.2 Enterprise Projects (Over R50,000)
- Refunds calculated based on milestone completion
- Completed milestones are non-refundable
- Unused portions may be refunded upon mutual agreement
2. Cancellation Terms
2.1 Client-Initiated Cancellation
- Within 48 hours of signing: Full refund minus 5% processing fee
- During planning phase (0-25% complete): 75% refund
- During development phase (26-75% complete): 50% refund
- During final phase (76-100% complete): 25% refund
2.2 Company-Initiated Cancellation
- Full refund of all payments made
- Transfer of all completed work and source code
- Written explanation of cancellation reasons
3. Refund Process
- Submit Request: Email refund request to support@amuworks.co.za
- Review Period: We review all requests within 5 business days
- Documentation: Provide project details and reason for refund
- Processing: Approved refunds processed within 10 business days
- Notification: Email confirmation sent when refund is processed
4. Non-Refundable Items
- Third-party licenses and subscriptions purchased on your behalf
- Domain registration and hosting setup fees
- Completed and approved design mockups
- Training sessions that have been conducted
- Consultation hours already used
5. Dispute Resolution
If you are not satisfied with our refund decision:
- Contact our senior management team within 30 days
- Provide detailed explanation of your concerns
- We will review and respond within 10 business days
- Escalation to independent mediation if needed
6. Force Majeure
Refunds may be modified or delayed due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, government regulations, pandemic restrictions, or other acts of God. In such cases, we will work with clients to find mutually acceptable solutions.
